Uniform
Uniform establishes a sense of belonging and pride and helps us to develop the professional ethos we feel allows our students to achieve their best and prepare for adult life.
The Academy uniform comprises black business trousers/skirts, white business shirt, black blazer with the school logo and a school tie. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Students must wear plain black formal shoes or full plain black trainers. Shoes must not have visible logos or colours of any kind.
Our uniform has variations for summer and winter months.
Summer uniform- Spring and Summer terms: trousers and skirts can be replaced with tailored formal shorts. No other shorts are permitted. In extremes of heat, the Principal might designate that blazers can be removed.
Winter uniform- autumn and winter terms: a plain black school jumper can be added under blazers. Jumpers do not replace blazers and cannot be worn without/instead of a blazer.
Students are permitted to wear one pair of stud earrings and one wristwatch. No other items of jewellery are allowed. Hoodies and non-school jumpers are not permitted on site. Hair must be natural colours and no extreme styles are permitted. The Principal’s decision on what constitutes an acceptable hairstyle is final.

Sensory Friendly Uniform
We are aware that some students find traditional trouser or shirt material uncomfortable. In such circumstances, parents can order sensory friendly uniform from ASDA, Next or Marks & Spencers:
